The City sends out an electronic newsletter (e-News) on Mondays and Fridays, and otherwise as needed for special announcements and crime alerts.

Submission Guidelines
The City considers all requested E-News entries that aim to promote City events, organizations, community endeavors and the like. If you'd like to request a City E-News entry, please read the following guidelines and email Communications Manager Debbie Revzin with all required information. If this is your first time requesting an E-News entry, please include your organization’s address, phone number, website and Facebook page (if applicable).
  • The Monday E-News goes out every Monday on or before 5 p.m. Deadline for content: noon every Friday. The Monday E-News includes City and community news and spotlights events being held that week. A "Coming Up" section at the bottom includes links to events that are over one week away. 
  • The Weekend E-News goes out at 6 a.m. every Friday and is generally only for events occurring that weekend. Deadline for content: noon every Thursday.
  • If you're a business owner who would like to promote new hours, offerings, etc., the City will typically run that once in the Monday E-News. 
  • Please include the event address (if different from your business address), event date and time (if applicable), and website/Facebook or phone number for people to find out more information.
  • E-News entry word count should be under 150 words. Please keep it brief and catchy.
  • First person pronouns (I, me, my, mine, we, us, our, ours) will generally be changed to third-person (he, she, it, its, him, her, his, hers, they, them, their, theirs).
