The City of Avondale Estates celebrates its 38th year as a Tree City USA on Georgia’s Arbor Day, Friday, Feb. 18. In collaboration with the Avondale Estates Garden Club, a native American flowering dogwood (Cornus florida) will be planted on the verge at 30 Lakeshore Dr. The event is open to all who'd like to attend.
