Volunteers are needed to help add over 800 native plants to the North Woods rain gardens. Join city staff and the Gardeners for the Common Good at an upcoming Saturday this fall from  8 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will sign up for a two-hour shift starting at 8 a.m. or 10 a.m. Each shift will begin with a presentation on green infrastructure and a safety briefing. Bring gloves, shovels, trowels and a water bottle on the workday.
