If you would like to submit a design idea, you must notify City Manager, Clai Brown, via email (rcbrown@avondaleestates.org) or phone 404-294-5400, of your intent to submit by Friday, May 19, at 3 p.m. At that time, you will be assigned a number, which you should place on all submission materials, in place of your name. No names should be present on your submitted documents/materials. All submissions must be received at City Hall by Wednesday, June 7, at 3 p.m. Please label your submission, "Attention City Manager, Clai Brown." Designer identities will be made known after the June 12, BOMC Special Called Work Session on Downtown Development where a reading of all design narratives will take place. Are you looking for information about Downtown Development in Avondale Estates? Would you like to give feedback and share your ideas with the City? The BOMC are holding Special Called Work Sessions focusing on issues surrounding development in the Central Business District. These meetings offer a great opportunity for the community to gather the latest updates on downtown properties and upcoming development plans for the City. They are also a chance for the community to offer feedback and give input. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 21 North Avondale Plaza, unless a conflict arises, it is a holiday or a member of the BOMC is unavailable.
