The City of Avondale Estates wishes the community a wonderful Memorial Day. Memorial Day is an opportunity to reflect on those serving our Armed Forces who have made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom. On this day, the American flag is to be flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon.
City Hall is closed Monday, May 28.
Sanitation pickup normally scheduled for Monday will occur tomorrow, Tuesday, May 29, in addition to the regular Tuesday schedule. The recycling collection schedule has also shifted this week with pickup now scheduled for Thursday, May 31.
