This evening we have the Candidates Forum with the welcome starting at 5:45 p.m. Candidates for Commissioner will speak and answer questions from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and candidates for Mayor from 7:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
According to the posted fire marshal regulations, we cannot have more than 250 people in the Family Life Center at First Baptist Church Avondale Estates. If we reach that number of attendees, we will not be able to allow additional audience members to enter.
We realize that there is a great deal of interest in hearing from the candidates and want to ensure that everyone is able to view the forum. This is why we are providing a live stream of the event on Facebook and will leave this posted for viewing after tonight.
