Milling work will begin on North Clarendon Avenue Friday, October 11, 2019. Motorists and others should expect temporary single lane closures as the work continues. This process should only take one day. Once complete, Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will be working on the curbing and other aspects of this phase of the project expected to take 2-3 weeks.
The milling work is being done as part of recently started improvements to the intersection by the GDOT to add pedestrian signalization, repair broken curbs and sidewalks, and address drainage issues. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. with the full project scheduled to be completed by mid-February 2020.
