The city received a State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) Improving Neighborhood Outcomes in Disproportionately Impacted Communities grant totaling $393,057 from the state of Georgia’s Office of Planning and Budget to improve Fletcher Park. The proposed Fletcher Park Improvement Plan includes recommendations for ADA accessibility, playground expansion, invasive removal, and drainage improvements.
Community members are invited to review the plans on the Fletcher Park Improvement webpage and provide input by October 31, 2024.
